Government workers are rejecting a 5-percent across-the-board salary hike offer from the government. The reason behind this is that what they want is actually a 14.5-percent wage hike.
Up to this very moment, negotiations between government workers and government representatives are still underway to strike a deal between the two bodies. Even the Church is on the side of the workers, so a deal should be really made soon.
