Dam opponents speak out against Swiss proposal

Chile activist group leader arrested

The long-sought leader of the Arauco-Malleco Association (CAM) Mapuche group, José Huenchunao Mariñán, has been captured by police. The indigenous rights activist, has been a fugitive from justice since August 2003, and faces a ten-year prison sentence for arson against forestry companies.

Tourists buy up aphrodisiac herb in Chile

Church shocked by morning-after pill for teenagers
