Meterorologists in the U.S. predict an increase of hurricanes for the coming year and they are blaming La Nina which produces a cooling effect on the water surface in the Pacific Ocean. Despite promising to reduce obesity from 16 percent in 2000 to 12 percent by 2010 Chile's government has done little to make this happen. At the moment 3.4 million Chileans suffer from obesity and it is predicted to rise to four million by 2010.
