For the first nine months of this year, two thousand and nine, the total amount of fish as well as shellfish landings were almost ten percent below the same period in previous years.
In all of the other main aquaculture sectors, harvest has also been significantly down. This is surely a major problem that needs to be addressed with some serious isight.
Of all of the main products that were being harvested there was Atlantic salmon, as well mussels, and even some rainbow trout.
